One Visit a Day, and a Way to Undo a Check-In
Since check-out went away, a second scan at the door — a member leaving, or a card read twice — could turn into a second visit, and on a limited plan a second credit gone. Two changes today put that right.
Open gym counts one visit per member per day. A member's second open-gym check-in on the same day is now rejected with Already checked in today at 09:12, so a scan on the way out never inflates your visit reports or burns a session. Class and appointment check-ins are separate: someone who trained in the morning is still marked present at their evening class. When a second session in one day is genuine — a morning and an evening workout — staff record it on purpose: from the member's profile or the Scan member window, the rejection becomes a question, Check in anyway. The self-service kiosk never offers that, so members alone at the screen cannot double-count themselves.
A mistaken check-in can be deleted. Wrong member, duplicate scan, a test at the desk — open the row's ⋯ menu on the Check-Ins page or on the member's Attendance tab and choose Delete check-in. The visit no longer counts, a limited plan gets the session back, and a class booking behind the check-in stays in place, so the right person can be checked in straight away. The removal shows in the member's activity, with who did it.
Nothing changes for bookings: a class or appointment reserved by mistake is still cancelled with Cancel reservation.
